California Bail Bond Services

Licensed · Statewide · 24 Hours

We post bail 24 hours a day across California, and in Idaho and Washington. The first call is free — and it costs you nothing to find out what the bail actually is.

Call and a licensed agent can pull the booking record while you are still on the phone — the charge, the bail amount, and which facility they are being held in.

Most people who call us have never done this before. There is no obligation, and we will tell you honestly if a bond is not what you need.

The 10-minute checklistExactly what you need to arrange a release.

Bail Bonds by Charge

Bail is set from the schedule in the county where the arrest happened, based on the specific code section charged. Each charge below has a full guide with typical amounts. If you are not sure what the charge is, we can find out.

Bail Bonds by Situation

Sometimes what complicates a release is not the charge. These are the situations we handle most often.

Warrants & Failure to Appear

If a bench warrant has issued, we can often arrange the bond before anyone turns themselves in, so the wait in custody is short. How warrants work.

Probation & Parole Holds

A hold can block a release even after bail is posted. Bail after a violation.

Immigration & “No Bail” Holds

An ICE detainer or a hold from another agency changes what is possible. Types of holds explained.

Nights, Weekends & Holidays

Bail is set at booking from the county schedule, so a Friday-night arrest does not have to mean waiting until Monday. We post around the clock.

A First Arrest

If this has never happened to your family before, start here: the first hour after an arrest.

A Minor in Custody

California juvenile court does not use bail — and we will tell you that rather than sell you a bond you do not need. What parents should do.

How the Process Works

1

Call us with a name

A full legal name and a date of birth is usually enough. We confirm the charge, the bail amount and which facility they are in.

2

We review the options

Sometimes there is no money bail at all — Los Angeles County now releases many lower-level offenses before arraignment without it. We will say so.

3

Paperwork and a cosigner

Most bonds need an indemnitor with ID, an address and steady income. What cosigning involves.

4

We post the bond

You do not need to drive to the jail. We post directly at the facility.

5

Release

Timing depends on the jail, not on us. How long it takes.

What a Bail Bond Costs

A bail bond costs a premium — a percentage of the full bail amount, set under California Department of Insurance rules and typically around 10%. On $20,000 bail, that is roughly $2,000. The premium is the fee for posting the full amount on your behalf; it is earned once the bond is posted and is not returned at the end of the case. We would rather you hear that from us up front than discover it later.

Payment plansInterest-free on qualification, tailored to what a family can manage.
Low down paymentsMany releases start with a fraction of the premium — $500 down.
CollateralMost bonds do not need it. When it is required we tell you exactly what secures the bond and when it is released.
No surprisesYou will know the premium and the terms before you sign — what you pay upfront.

Common Questions

Once the bond is posted, release is up to the jail — often 2 to 6 hours at a city station, 4 to 12 at a sheriff’s station, and longer at a large county facility. More on release timing.

Usually not. Collateral comes up on higher bail amounts, or where a cosigner’s income does not support the bond on its own. When it is required, we tell you exactly what secures the bond and when it is released.

Use our California inmate locator, or just call us with a name and date of birth and we will find them.

A bench warrant issues and the bond can be forfeited, which exposes the cosigner to the full amount. Call us immediately if a date is missed — see warrants and failure to appear.

No. Los Angeles County now releases many lower-level offenses before arraignment without money bail. We will tell you if that applies rather than arranging financing you do not need. Bail amounts by charge.
